history, which shows Kaye Ballard and cast members recording the cast album for this very short lived Broadway show, that
only had 68 total performances. This was supposed to be a major musical for Kaye, but was a major flop instead. This home-movie
looks to have been filmed in someone's apartment, and you can just hear the actor's singing with no backround music as it
just plays in their headphones. Although the video looks to have been filmed yesterday, it was filmed in front of a window
so much of the video is in silhouette. It's interesting to note that Kaye changed the spelling of her name to "Kay" for the
program, because she was told by a numerologist that the 3 letter spelling would bring her better luck. No cast album was
ever released.

But when you compare them side by side you notice subtle differences. This is a copy of Bob Fosse’s own video
which he edited and returned back to the producers. It is a bit longer than the commercial video and Fosse chose many,
many different angles, and different takes. This was his suggestion for how the show should be edited, but most of his
suggestions were ignored. The show itself was not staged by Fosse, but by his associate, Kathryn Doby, based on his
original Broadway staging. It is rumored that Fosse was not happy with the video that was released, preferring this
edit better, and very unhappy that his suggestions were not utilized. Has counter numbers along the bottom of the screen.
